Multi-Sized Pattern for Adults:  Sizes 1 - 5 Skill Level:  3, Medium Difficulty A racing shorts pattern that you can use to make your own biking (or running) shorts with a side stripe and a crotch chamois for comfort.  Also could be used to to make bottoms for a bathing suit.   Sizing:    Fabric Suggestions:Shorts: 80% Nylon/20% Lycra tricot knit, or other 4-way stretch Lycra fabric.Chamois: Micro fleece and medium fleece for 2 layer padding.Note: This pattern is sized for 4-way stretch Lycra fabric with at least 40% stretch. Fabric Requirements: 45" or 60" wide fabric, all sizes - Main Color: 3/4 yd (.7m); Contrast Color: 5/8 yd (.57m) Notions:Polyester thread, 1 yd (.92m) 1" waist elastic, 1 yd (.92m) 1" grip elastic, 1/4 yd (.23m) or 1 sq.ft. each micro and medium fleece for pad.
