We’re happy to assist you!With an IR surface-temperature sensor and an NTC sensor for accurately measuring air temperature, the Testo 810 Infrared Surface and Air Temperature Thermometer can be used for several different tasks but is especially suited to inspecting heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.The infrared sensor allows non-contact surface temperature readings, thereby improving safety, with a spot to distance ratio of 6:1 which makes it suitable for measuring surfaces from close to medium range. With a measuring range of -30 to 300℃, the Testo 810 can take readings for all surfaces in most HVAC systems whilst a laser highlights the measurement point for improved accuracy. Emissivity is adjustable so the user can compensate for different surface materials. The NTC sensor, meanwhile, takes air temperature readings from -10 to 50℃ so it is suitable for all indoor HVAC tasks.Real-time readings for surface temperature, air temperature and temperature differential are shown simultaneously on the Testo 810’s LCD screen thanks to each sensor’s 2/sec measurement rate whilst they are both highly accurate and also precise to 0.1℃. The screen can be illuminated to make readings more legible in poor light.Data collection functions include data hold and min/max whilst the light, compact design and 50-hour battery life make it perfect for transporting and operating for extended periods of time. The device comes supplied with batteries, a protective cap, a belt holder and a calibration protocol.
