DescriptionChauvin Arnoux CA6424 Earth TesterProduct Details:The Chauvin Arnoux CA6424 Earth Tester is the ideal instrument for 2P and 3P earth measurements to be taken safely and easily. Both text markings and colour coding help the users to avoid connection errors. Users are able to measure voltage up to 600V with all measurements and functionality are directly accessible on the front panel which can be used even with gloves on.With automatic start up in 2P earth measurement mode, the CA6424 instantly allows the user to test the integrity of the H stake. When using the 3P earth mode, the CA6424 memorises the 52%, 62% and 72% measurement values and calculates the differences in % relation to the average. If the difference is too large , the percentage value is displayed on screen with a flashing display.Users are able to use the CA6424 to measure line (phase) current and leakage current from 0.5mA to 60A thanks to the special connection technology for the G72 clamp (optional). The CA6424 has a dedicated key for cable compensation, whilst the LED screen indicates when a hazardous voltage is detected, with a NOISE symbol flashing should noise voltage be present. If a noise filled environment is detected, the CA6424 automatic switching from a frequency of 128Hz to 256Hz will help improve the measurement accuracy.The CA6424 boasts a 3 display backlit screen with users able to view useful measurements on a single screen, any errors detected in measurements or recorded values as well as complementary information such as USE and HR.The CA6424 complies with IEC 61557-1 and IEC 61557-4 and is 600V CAT IV rated.
