It may be stained or preserved, but that’s not necessary. Bluebirds were there to welcome the first settlers of Plymouth Colony, who called them blue robins. A solid cypress construction means years of good use and features our famous stone-washed shingled roof, solid copper trim and hinged front door for east access, viewing and cleaning. Excellent floor drainage and roof ventilation, with mounting paddle for easy hanging. (We prefer to mount on a metal pole with a baffle below the box as it decreases predation.) Expect nesters shortly! **Included on the front is a copper hole protector to prevent chewing or other deterioration of the entrance hole ~ free!
