We’ve set a goal of visiting all 5 Great Lakes. I bought these for my kids to collect sand from each of the 5 beaches. They are very sturdy and just the right size for this purpose. The plastic is very clear–they look like glass and will make a nice display. I used a paint marker to write the name of each lake on each vial. The vials measure one inch in diameter.
