I bought this particular shelf unit rather than another one because it was described as being taller than it is in actuality once put together. I thought I had 11 1/2 or 12 full inches from inside the top to bottom shelves so I could put full size books or paper units. But that is not the case and now all of my full-size books are laying on their side. It was difficult to find the size description for this particular unit, then, when I found it, it described a taller unit than it actually is on the inside measurements.On the plus side, this unit was very easy to put together and all the holes lined up. It looks great and holds my printer right next to my computer at a very nice height.Overall I would recommend because of the color, the shape, the durability, and how nice it was to put together. The only drawback is if you are trying to house full size books in the lower section , you’ll have to put them on their side.
